SIX MONTHS!
1/2 A YEAR!
(I think I am going to cry now)
Food: Loving bananas, prunes, and pears! Not the biggest fan of vegetables. HATES carrots. Loves to taste test what Mom and Dad are eating, too. Still taking 4oz bottles every 3+ hours when away from me.
Sleep: Man oh man! I don't know where my sleep-loving baby went, but I'd love to have him back. I'm going to blame teething, our schedule being off because I've been off work, his first cold, sleeping in a new place, and an active little brain. He has gotten pretty good at taking just two decent naps during the day, though.
Clothes: Same as last month-- Still fitting into some 3-6 month shirts/jackets, mainly in 6 month pants, and wearing size 2 and 3 in shoes.
Health: We battled our first cold this month. :( However, the more I read about teething, I think it was more so just a side effect of that. He was tested for the flu and ear infection(s), but everything looked fine. He had a fever, yucky cough, and lots of congestion. Thankfully it only stuck around for about two days.
Likes: Smiling from ear to ear, eating fruit, being talked to, jumping in his jumper, when Mommy calls him stinky :), taking baths, attempting to grab any and every thing in sight, his little Pup, shaking his head no (ALL the time!), watching the dogs, watching anything with lots of movement on the TV, any toy that plays music and/or lights up, having his Pup or blanket snuggled up to him when he's trying to go to sleep, and of course, still sucking those fingers! He also likes.. I mean loves.. when his cousin Jayleigh is around!
Dislikes: Being really tired. And here lately, he's been disliking his paci.
Changes: Brysen has changed SO much since last month. He is officially sitting all on his own, he is grabbing anything he sees, he reaches for Mom and Dad with both arms, he is standing (supported) a whole lot more, and he has become a very good eater. It doesn't seem like my little baby should be old enough to do all of these things just yet. :( He's also recently discovered that he's a really big fan of Mommy. There are some days where he wants nothing to do with anyone or anything other than my lap. I've lost count of how many times I've been told that I am spoiling him, but I don't even care. He'll only be this little once, and I'll spoil him all I want. :)
