2014

2014 was SUCH a good year for us!

Definitely one of my favorites.

| JANUARY |

I surprised Vonte with a trip to Nashville to determine the gender 

of our little peanut. Such a wonderful, magical, AMAZING experience!

| FEBRUARY |

Our little man was officially given a name! Vonte texted me one day and said, "You like the name Bryson?" And I replied something along the lines of, "Yes! I didn't think you would so I didn't mention it. But let's change the spelling." And that was that. My grandpa (aka greatest man ever) is named Gary Ray, so Brysen got his middle name from him. I was so glad that Vonte was on board for naming our little guy after my favorite old guy.    :)

As if our lives were not already extremely busy, we decided to toss a wedding

into the mix, too. Neither Vonte or I cared about anything other than joining hands 

and becoming one. Nothing fancy- but totally perfect for us.

| MAY |

I had maternity pictures made. Another wonderful experience.

| JUNE |

I soaked up my first month of summer vacation and my last month of being a 

big ole pregnant woman. AC was definitely my friend!

| JULY |

Life as we knew it changed before our eyes. We welcomed our son into this

world on July 3rd (best day ever). I never knew how much I really loved

Vonte until I saw the love he had for our child. Man, I'm lucky.

| AUGUST |

I returned to work when Brysen was just 5 weeks old (Boooo! Never again!) 

BUT I was extremely happy to be back in a place that felt more 

like home (where I completed my student teaching). Still loving it! 

Being able to leave work every day with a happy attitude

makes ALL the difference. 

| SEPTEMBER |

I celebrated turning 24. My first birthday as a Mommy! 

Best birthday yet!

| OCTOBER |

Vonte celebrated turning 25. His first birthday as a Daddy!

And it was Brysen's first Halloween!

| NOVEMBER |

We wrapped up our house hunting experience as we made an offer an a home 

that we both fell in love with. This process has been quite the headache,

but oh so worth it! We also enjoyed Brysen's first Thanksgiving!

| DECEMBER |

We celebrated 10 years of love [12.02.2004] and Brysen's first Christmas!
